Dr. Scott L. Spear, MD, is chief of plastic surgery at Georgetown University Hospital. He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America and in Washingtonian magazine's "Top Doctors," every year since 1986. Board Certified in both general surgery and plastic surgery, Dr. Spear also serves as professor of surgery at Georgetown and directs the Washington area training program in plastic surgery. He has published extensively on various aspects of plastic surgery and has lectured before national and international medical audiences. Both the Food and Drug Administration and Congress have sought his expert testimony.
